In this practice, we invite pausing and attending to what is present as a predecessor to action. The opening meditation allows for a longer interval of pausing and attending, and then we insert the mini-pause throughout practice. The movement sequences of class explore shoulder and pelvis spirals and relationships including: child’s pose, swan, transition from W1 to W2, cat/cow, twisting lunge, gate, stork with variations, heron and reclined twist.
