Freedom in the Sternum and Ribs 1/8/2022
Attune Yoga Long Practices
•
1h 2m
Continuing on a winter theme of doing less and resting more, this practice starts with extended constructive rest and floor time. Focus is on being with internal sensations (rather than thinking about/analyzing them). An excellent practice for beginners or for a day when you need to slow down, anatomic focus is on the thoracic spine and sternum supporting and freeing the ribs. Poses include: easeful backbends, gate, side plank, modified versions of warrior, tree and heron.
