Centering practice begins with freeing the arms and legs to allow more length and ease in the torso. Throughout the centering there is an invitation to deepen the quality of attention — noticing what is happening in the present moment, noticing the general versus the specific, and also identifying positive and neutral qualities or states. We carry these themes into the movement practice as well as attending to the details of our movements and asanas. Poses include: Child’s Pose, Gate, Low Lunge Twist, High Lunge, Wide Leg FF, Skater, Baby Half Moon Balance, Reclined Twist, Bridge Sequence.
