Centering practice focuses on exploratory orienting and noticing how one responds to this invitation (sometimes it comes naturally and other times we may resist or need more time to come into the here and now). Class movement sequences focus on restoring spinal curves and loosening some of the musculature that might brace in the torso and arms. We also work on sending the pelvis back in various poses. Poses include: Mini Half Moon Balance, Gate, W2, Tree, Star (with developmental movement emphasis), and other rhythmic movement patterns to invite ease and flow.
