In this gentle practice, we take time to honor what’s happening in our experience and how much we want to tune in to the body. Sometimes it’s too activating to completely go inward and so the practice invites a noticing of where the attention wants to go instead. Then when it feels safe, might one glimpse inward? These concepts come from Somatic Experiencing withe the idea of small changes possibly leading to increased resilience. Movement principles include coming into the back body and head-pelvis counterbalance. Poses include: table and side plank variations, lunges, twists, W2, Reverse Warrior, Triangle, Goddess, and Rhythmic Floor work to unwind.
