59m
We explore indirect principles such as connecting to the ground through the lower body to support the neck and shoulders. Additionally there is direct attention to the structures and tissues around the head, neck and shoulders. Centering meditation includes grounding, freeing the head weight off the spine and micro-movements of the hands and arms. Subsequent standing and seated sequences continue these themes with variations. Poses include: Heart-Opening Dropped Table, Thread the Needle, Cobra/Sphinx, Side Angle, Dancer with Wall Support, and a variety of somatic explorations.
