We begin our time together flipping through different “channels” of experience — noticing what’s happening inside, in the outer environment, emotionally, and in the larger context of our relational connections. Curiosity is encouraged rather than bearing down on any one element of attention. Movement sequences focus on 6 movements of the spine, differentiating the limbs from the torso, flowing into balance — and overall having a sense of embodiment and first-person experience: “I am choosing to move in this way right now.” Poses include: Table, Side Plank, Warrior I, Reverse Warrior, Dancer, various twists and rhythmic explorations.
