The opening meditation invites a noticing of the quality of your attention - can it move towards openness and curiosity and away from hypervigilance or over analysis, particularly with regard to sensations in the body. The movement practice emphasizes torso integrity, an open front line, and distributing tone throughout the body in order to support specific movements/poses that would otherwise feel more difficult with attention solely on one part. Poses include side plank, baby half moon, extended side angle half wide angle, dancer as well as preparation for yogic squat.
