1h 2m
In the first 10 minutes of class, a guided centering practice invites you to travel through the body, checking in along the way and taking small movements to soften. This part of the practice, as always, can be done as a standalone practice on days when you would like to spend a few minutes getting grounded. We then continue last week’s class theme of engaging the lower back line to stabilize movement, but this week integrating this more into flowing and rhythmic movement, including some pandiculation-type movements. Poses include: W2, Extended Side Angle, and Triangle — emphasizing back leg importance — and a series of hip and leg openers, ending with restorative bridge.
